
As of March 4, 2026, the Worcester County Planning Commission submitted the draft 2026 Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Map to the State of Maryland for the 60-day review process.
Following this review, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing and accept public comment. Written comments may be provided at the following link - CLICK HERE -, or via mail to the Department of Development, Review and Permitting, One West Market Street, Room 1201, Snow Hill, MD 21863. The plan may be updated to reflect additional feedback received.
The Planning Commission will then make a recommendation on the adoption of the plan. A separate public hearing will be scheduled with the County Commissioners for adoption of the plan by resolution.
