Public Notice – Water Outage March 4 in the areas of Windjammer Road, Sandyhook Road, Capetown Road, and Essex Court
To replace a failing water service main, Public Works will shut off water to an estimated 65 homes in Ocean Pines from the Windjammer Road/Capetown Road intersection to the Windjammer Road/Sandyhook Road intersection, from the Capetown Road/Ocean Parkway intersection to the Capetown Road/Wind Jammer Road intersection, and all of Essex Court on Wednesday, March 4 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with an alternative date of Thursday March 5. Water service for will be affected for approximately 3-4 hours, while crews make the repair.
Following the repair, area residents may experience brown water. If that occurs, please allow the water to run for a few minutes until it becomes clear. If the water remains brown, please contact Water and Wastewater at 410-641-5251.
