Snow Hill, MD – Worcester County Government (WCG) is expanding its use of social media to make it easier for residents to follow County business.
Meeting agendas for the following boards and committees will now be shared on the County’s Facebook and X pages:
- Board of License Commissioners
- Board of Zoning Appeals
- County Commissioners
- Planning Commission
- Technical Review Committee
Learn about upcoming meetings and matters being considered by County officials. Agendas include information about proposed development, zoning requests, licensing matters, public hearings, County programs, and other topics of community interest.
“Sharing agendas on social media gives residents another convenient way to stay informed about matters affecting their communities,” Commissioner President Ted Elder said. “Our goal is to provide the public with timely information and more opportunities to follow County business.”
Social media posts will supplement existing notification practices. Agendas and meeting materials will remain available at worcestermd.gov/minutes, and legally required notices will continue to be published in accordance with state and local requirements.
