Public Notice – Water Outage March 17 in the areas surrounding Moby Dick Drive, Seafarer Road, Birdnest Drive, and Bayou Court
To replace a failing water service main, Public Works will shut off water to an estimated 90 homes in Ocean Pines from both intersections of Moby Dick Drive and Seafarer Road to the intersection of Birdnest Drive and Seafarer Road, all of Bayou Court, and a section of Birdnest Drive from House numbers 1 thru 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, with an alternative date of Wednesday, March 18. Water service will be affected for approximately 4-6 hours, while crews make the repair.
Following the repair, area residents may experience brown water. If that occurs, please allow the water to run for a few minutes until it becomes clear. If the water remains brown, please contact Water and Wastewater at 410-641-5251.
